Hi friends! Today, our author spotlight is on Stephanie Dees! Everyone, say hello to Stephanie! Without further ado, let's get to know Stephanie and her book A Daughter for Christmas.

Author Bio:
Stephanie Dees lives in Northwest Florida with her family and two very spoiled pups. A Southern girl through and through, she loves sweet tea, SEC football, corn on the cob and air conditioning.

The Triple Creek Cowboys series is set in Red Hill Springs, Alabama. Did you know that there really are cowboys in Alabama?
• there are cattle ranches in every county in Alabama
• there's even a television series on the INSP network called The Cowboy Way set in South Alabama
• we've been rodeoing in Alabama (officially) since 1958

Eve's super-special Christmas Eve homemade hot cocoa (guaranteed to fill even the grinchiest of heroes with Christmas spirit)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup hot water
a pinch of salt
4 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, salt and hot water over medium heat.
2. Cook, stirring constantly until smooth and bring to a simmer.
3. Reduce heat, stir in milk (do not boil).
4. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and pour into mugs. Serve immediately with marshmallows, whipped cream, crushed peppermint and/or sprinkles.
